PROOF OF MARRIAGE: James Wolfenbarger and Mary Dalton, married August 11, 1848, at Grainger Co., Tenn., by William Odel, Justice of the Peace. Affidavit by David Dalton and Elizabeth Dalton, present at wedding. MINOR CHILDREN OF SOLDIER: Lorinda Jane, born Feb. 8, 1855 David Franklin, born April 15, 1858 Nancy Emaline, born Dec. 31, 1859 James Benjamin, born Oct. 24, 1863 Affidavits of Mary Dalton and Agnes Black, who said they were present at the births of all of the above children. ADJUDICATION: Approved August 29, 1865, at the rate of $8.00 per month, retroactive to Nov. 8, 1864. File #54,973. Increased by additional $2.00 per month for each minor child, July 25, 1866.
