DATE AND PLACE OF DEATH: Nov. 7, 1864, Bolivar, Mo.

CAUSE OF DEATH: Typhoid fever, contracted during his service.

PROOF OF MARRIAGE: James Wolfenbarger and Mary Dalton, married August 11, 1848, at Grainger Co., Tenn., by William Odel, Justice of the Peace. Affidavit by David Dalton and Elizabeth Dalton, present at wedding.

Affidavits of Mary Dalton and Agnes Black, who said they were present at the births of all of the above children.

ADJUDICATION: Approved August 29, 1865, at the rate of $8.00 per month, retroactive to Nov. 8, 1864. File #54,973. Increased by additional $2.00 per month for each minor child, July 25, 1866.

DROPPED FROM PENSION ROLL: By death, last payment Aug. 4, 1897. Rate of pension of last payment, $12.00 a month.
