With the view of affording further encouragement to the Seamen Gunners at present in the Service, and also to such men as may hereafter, on receiving their Gunnery Certificates, be discharged from the Excellent to Seagoing Ships, their Lordshihps are pleased to direct, that all Seamen Gunners shall receive 2s. a month additional pay for the first period of five years, from the date of their passing Certificates of Gunnery ; 5s. a month after the expiration of that period, for the next five years; and 7s. a month for all subsequent Service, provided they re-enter forthwith on the completion of each period of Service. |
