(Partial listing)
Center Hill Cemetery is located behind Center Hill Church which is located near the Saline County line. The cemetery is well kept and is still being used for burials. It appears this cemetery, at one time, was called James Cemetery. Obert Wade Garner's death certificate shows he was buried in James Cemetery. Also, Martha Ellen Robinson James' obituary shows James Cemetery. The earliest marked tombstone shows Rev. Wilkins Tate who died in 1869 and his wife Edith about 1868.
