RichardN Brock (c.1770-1818)

The man I believe to be the younger of two half-brothers to John and Henry Casebolt either did not arrive in the Little Levels, or did not come of age, or did not set up his own household until 1796, according to the contemporary tax reports.  So far, I have been able to find out very little about him.  What little I have is summarized below.  His family, insofar as I have tried to reconstruct it, is laid out on the following page.

-1795 Richard does not appear in Bath Co. Personal Property Tax Lists, although Thomas Brock does.

and 1797 Richard is in the Bath Co. Personal Property Tax Lists.

and 1799 Richard is missing from the Bath Co. Personal Property Tax Lists.

Richard is in the Bath Co. Personal Property Tax Lists.

Richard is missing from the Bath Co. Personal Property Tax Lists.

Richard is in the Bath Co. Personal Property Tax Lists.

Richard is missing from the Bath Co. Personal Property Tax Lists.

to 1818 Richard is in the Bath Co. Personal Property Tax Lists.

the Richard Brock household is listed in the Bath Co. census.1

to 1821 Richard is missing from the Bath Co. Personal Property Tax Lists.

Richard’s widow Nancy’s household is listed in the 1820 Bath Co. census.2
