Isaac1A is an almost complete mystery. He shows up on one census record in Mississippi; then later there are some younger folk in Mississippi who could be his descendants.  If he was a Casebolt, John1 and Elizabeth1.2 seem his most likely parents.

For these notes see his entry on p. 4-22.

The year is a guess based on the likely birth of their eldest son.

Her age is given as 101 in the 1860 census (see next note).  It evidently was given as in the 70-80 range in the 1840 census of Scott Co, VA living with her son-in-law and daughter, Lovel and Amy Sergent.

The last evidence we have of her is the 1860 census for Scott Co, VA, p.345, at age 101 (or 107??), living with her son-in-law and daughter, Able and Sophia Collier.

Dyer, Kenneth L, e-mail to rak, 18 Sept. 1998: Named both "Molly Davis" and "Elizabeth Davis" in her mother Susannah Helvey's will written in January 1794; named "Elizabeth Casebolt" in the nearly final 1800 administration of her father Henry Helvey's 1790 will. [The Helveys lived at Reed Creek in Wythe Co -- John Mitchell e-mail to kld, 4 April 2000.]  Hobbs, Jean e-mail to rak, 7 November 2000: in the marriage records of Absalom Hobbs and Susan Helvy ... there is a notation that Henry Helvy, father of Susan, was from Germany and that his original name may have been Heinrich Helwig.

Dyer, Kenneth L, e-mail to rak, 26 June 1998: "Mary Elizabeth Helvey was a daughter of Henry and Susannah (Gale) Helvey of Wythe Co, VA."

He is reported as age 42 in the 1840 Census of Coahoma Co, MS.  He could have been son to any of the brothers (John1, Robert3, or Henry4).  I have no information which links him to John and Elizabeth, on the other hand, 1) Robert probably had no children, and 2) he is not in the list of Henry's children in one of his descendant's family bible.  Of the three brothers, John, especially in his second family, had the greater penchant for giving sons biblical names.  So he is "parked" with John and Elizabeth pending further information.

So far I have no information on him before the 1840 federal census or after the 1845 state census.
