Mary Huffmaster of Phoenixville, Pa, died April 18, 1984, at her home. She was 69 years of age.

She was born March 29, 1915, in Sullivan County, a daughter of Frank and Minnie Huffmaster.

Surviving are four sisters: Ida Huffmaster of Pleasantville, Pa; Margaret Huffmaster of Reading, Pa; Alice Sampsell of Turbotville, Pa; and Clara Ziegler of Canton.

Funeral services were held at Phoenixville with interment in Morris cemetery, Phoenixville.

Joseph R. Huffmaster, 62, of Cookstown, NJ, died March 21, 1983 at the Walter Reed Hospital, Washington, DC. He was born in Sullivan County, a son of the late Frank and Minnie Huffmaster.

Mr. Huffmaster retired as Master Sergeant from the U.S. Army in 1969 after serving 26 years. At the time of his death, he was employed by the U.S. Postal Service at Trenton.

Surviving are his wife, Maria Kuryluk Huffmaster; two sons, Henry, with the U.S. Air Force at Andrews Air Force Base and John of Cookstown, five sisters, Mary Huffmaster, Phoenixville, Pa. Ida Huffmaster, Pleasantville, Pa. Margaret Huffmaster, Reading, Pa. Alice Sampsell, Turbotville, Pa and Clara Ziegler, Canton, Pa. two granddaughters; three cousins, Bertha Huffman of New Albany, Ruth Tourscher of Elmira, NY and Ernest Huffmaster, Wyalusing.

Graveside service and burial was held March 25 at the Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville.

J. Walter Huffman, of Wilmot, Bradford Co., and Miss Bertha A. Huffmaster were married on Tuesday morning, April 12 in Zion Lutheran church, Dushore, by their pastor, Rev. W.H. Fehr.

The Bridal couple were attended by Miss Kathryn Weaver as maid of honor and Ernest Yonkin as best man.

The newly wedded pair left after the ceremony for Wyalusing where they boarded the Lehigh Valley train on a honeymoon trip.

Bertha H. Huffman, 88, of Wilmot Twp., New Albany, died Thursday evening, Aug. 30, 1990, at the Bradford County Manor following a lingering illness.
Born July 7, 1902, in Sullivan County, she was a daughter of the late George and Thressa Brown Huffmaster.
Mrs. Huffman was a lifetime area resident and a member of the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, St. John's Chapel of Wilmot. She was also a member of the Wyalusing Chapter No. 523 Order of the Eastern Star, and the Wilmot Grange.
Her husband, the late J. Walter Huffman died on Oct. 23, 1989.
Mrs. Huffman is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Norman (Loreine) Fenton of Elmira, Mrs. Thressa Speanburgh of Phelps, N.Y., Mrs. John (Fern) Denniston of Phelps. NY. Mrs. John (Lucretia) Way of Sugar Run and Mrs. Milton (Edna) Morse of Camptown; one son, John L. Huffman of Wilmot; one sister, Mrs. Ruth Touschner of Elmira; 18 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in St. John's Lutheran Chapel, Wilmot, with the Rev. Richard A. Reeser, Mrs. Huffman's pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in the adjoining parish cemetery.
Friends may call at the Russell P. McHenry Funeral Home, 119 Carpenter St. Dushore, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Monday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.

Mrs. Ida Hunsinger, 83, of New Albany RD 1 died at the Stopyra Nursing Home, Dushore RD 1, on Sunday morning following a lingering illness.

She was born June 30, 1879, in cherry Township, Sullivan County, daughter of the late Frederick and Sally Ann Thrasher Huffmaster.

She was a lifetime resident of the New Albany and Dushore areas. Her husband, the late Thomas S. Hunsinger, preceded her in death by about 10 years.

Mrs. Hunsinger was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of Dushore.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Miles R. Miller Sr. of Dushore, Mrs. Byron Erle of Sayre and Mrs. Hazel Jayne at home; five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Prayer services were held at the Russell P. McHenry Funeral home, 119 Carpenter St. Dushore. Wednesday at 10:45 a.m. with further services at the Zion Lutheran Church, Dushore, at 11 o’clock with the Rev. Maurice J. Hart officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were Harris Allen, Arch Brown, Lewis Dieffenbach, Paul Hieber, Milton Weaver and Ernest Yonkin.

Thelma R. Bundle, 60, of New Albany RD 2 died September 16, 1986 at the Robert Packer Hospital, following a lingering illness.

Born December 3, 1925, in Colley, Sullivan County, she was the daughter of Byron and Edna Hunsinger Erle.

On July 12, she and her husband Stanley F. Bundle celebrated their 39^th wedding anniversary.

She was a life-long resident of Bradford and Sullivan Counties. Her main interest in life was her home and family.

Surviving are her husband at home; three sons, Thomas and Karen Bundle of Syracuse, Byron and Cynthia Bundle and Stanley and Cindy Bundle, all of New Albany, four daughters, Mrs. Frederick (Susan) Pellecchia of Morristown, NJ, Mrs. Charles (Nancy) Hendericks of Dale City, VA. Mrs. Robert (Betty) Bump of Towanda, Mrs. Marc (Patricia) Teeter of New Albany; father, Byron V. Erle of Sayre; two brothers, Elwood Erle of Penn-Yan, Bernard Erle of Athens; sister, Mrs. Lawrence (Dorothy) Cullen of Owego; five granddaughters and five grandsons.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the Russell P. McHenry Funeral Home, Dushore, with the Rev. Richard A. Reeser, pastor of the Zion Lutheran Church officiating.

Interment will be in St. Basil’s Cemetery, Dushore.
