Note: There are only two headstones left. Carol has provided pictures of each which are linked to the names below. These two headstones have actually been moved from the hedgerow in the Ruger Cemetery to the Ackley Cemetery at Spring Hill, PA. The old timers tell us there were more stones at one time.

Isaac Ruger married Catherina Race. She was born about 1792, and died November 05, 1851 in Tuscarora Township, PA, age 59 years 25 days.

i. Caroline Ruger, born about 1829 in Catskill, NY; died October 11, 1903 in Tuscarora Township, PA, age 85 years.
ii. Mary Ruger, married David Lyon Millard, November 20, 1867; born March 01, 1830 in Unadilla, NY; died after June 06, 1900 in Tuscarora Township, PA; appears in the Federal census for 1880.
iii. Nelson Ruger, born between June 25, 1822 - 1824 in Catskill, NY.

Generation No. 2

Caroline Ruger married Theron James Hall, July 10, 1853 in PA; services by Elder Ruel Hall. Theron was the son of Theodaty Hall and Mary _______. He died April 01, 1863 in the Civil War from typhoid.

iii. Ida A Hall, born about 1860.

Nelson Ruger married (1) Margaret S. Anson, daughter of Alfred and Lucinda Anson. She was born January 21, 1828 in Poughkeepsie, NY, and died August 07, 1882 in PA, 3 days after her baby Ray Ruger. Nelson then married (2) Becky [?] _______.

Children of Nelson Ruger and Margaret Anson are:

i. Samuel W. Ruger, born about 1849 in NY; died before 1860 in New Jersey, probably.
ii. Morgan Ruger. He married Lena Drake; born about 1853; died 1887 in Elmira, NY, age 24 years from spinal meningitis.
iii. Mary Ruger. She married Newton Hawley.
iv. Lucinda Ruger, born September 1861 in PA; died September 22, 1931. She married (1) Walter Marshall about 1886, probably in Wilkes-Barre, PA; they divorced about four years later. She married (2) Oliver C. Kintz about 1886; born August 1861, probably in New Jersey; died November 14, 1935.
