Oliver Perry Fluke

Oliver enlisted in Company C of the 110th Pennsylvania Volunteers at Yellow Creek, on 28 Sep 1861 for a three year term.
He served as a Private until 28 Jun 1862, when he was discharged at Luray, VA, due to a hernia.

Oliver was born
Jul. 4, 1835, in Bedford County, PA, the son of Elias and Mary Sailor Fluke.
He married Catherine Christiana Gates on 15 Apr 1858.
Oliver was a stone mason, was 5 feet 7 inches tall, and fair complected. He had grey eyes, and black hair.
He was hospitalized at Mt Pleasant General Hospital in Washing D. C. on 25 Jun 1862,
and discharged three days later with the diagnosis of Inguinal Hernia, left side.
He died Jan. 27, 1883, and is buried in St Paul's Cemetery, Yellow Creek, Bedford County, PA
His widow applied for and received a Widow's Pension in 1890, after his death.
