Pascoe, John Montgomery.--Was born April 9, 1850, at Cornwall, England; was converted early in life and joined the church at the age of twelve; studied in an academy in England; B.D., Drew Theological Seminary, 1883; entered the Troy Conference, 1878; appointments: '78, Lanesboro', Mass.; '79, Lincoln, Vt.; '80, '81, Bridport, Vt.; '82, Weybridge, Vt.; '83, Starksboro', Vt.; '84, transferred to the Vermont Conference by division of territory; '84, Proctorsville, Vt.; '85, transferred to the Virginia Conference; '85, Falls, Va.; '86, transferred to the Baltimore Conference; '86, Union Grove Circuit, Md.; '87, Romney, W. Va.; '88, Bloomington and Elk Garden, Md.; '89, Hancock, Md.; '90, Flintstone, Md.; '91, '92, Winchester, W. Va.; '93, transferred to the Pittsburg Conference; '93, Hookstown, Pa.; '94, Shippingsport, Pa.; published: 1885, an address on "The Divine Revelation"; 1894, "Paul's Letter to the Colossians" (a prize essay); married Miss Ella M. Partridge, Dec. 16, 1878.
