George P. Atwell

REV. GEORGE P. ATWELL was born at Clintonville July 23, 1867. He graduated from Grove City College in 1895, and coming front the Seceder church at Lisbon to Scrubgrass church, entered the Western Theological Seminary, and graduated in 1898. He was ordained and installed pastor of Riverdale Church Oct. 27, 1898. For five years he remained their pastor. On July 1, 1903, he resigned, and the following day he was installed pastor of the Hawthorn Avenue church, of Crafton, Pennsylvania.
