Soldier Boy Dies On Mexican Border
Frederick Buquo, Who Has Been In The Service A Year, Passes Away
ELLWOOD CITY, October 30. - Word has been received here announcing the death of Frederick Buquo, aged 22 years, a former well known young man of the city, at Camp McArthur, Waco, Texas on the Mexican border where he has been stationed for the past year as a member of the U.S. Calvary. His death was caused by pneumonia, which probably followed an attck of influenza. His death occured yesterday. He was well and favorably known here and is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Buquo of Zelienople, former well known residents of the Fourth ward. Word has been sent to have the body sent here for burial. The funeral arrangements will not be completed until the body arrives here.
