Whitten Leroy Broadbent
September 9, 1892 - September 26, 1918


Mr. and Mrs. Harry Broadbent received the sad news on last Saturday evening that their son Whitten who has been in active service in France for some time was dead.

Broadbent Killed While In Action

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Broadbent of Leesburg, have received a message notifying them that their son Whitten Broadbent was killed in action in France on September 26th. He entered the service last June.

Whitten Broadbent was one of the best known young men in that section and that the sympathy of the community goes out to the bereaved family.
