Abraham Anderson Is Killed In Action

Pennsylvania Avenue Soldier With Rainbow Division Gives His Life

A telegram was received Sunday from Washington, D. C., December 1, by Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Anderson of 1711 Pennsylvania avenue, stating that their son, Abraham L. Anderson, had been killed in action in France, October 23. Mr. Anderson was a member of the infantry in the Rainbow Division. Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Anderson have lived here over 35 years. While in this city Abraham was an attendant at the First Christian church. Surviving him are his parents, one sister, Mrs. I. H. Miller, of San Antonio, Texas, and the following brothers, John and Samuel of Woodlawn, and Edward and Carl, both in service abroad.
