Adams, Mrs. Catharine, died at her residence in Walker Twp., 23 July 1824, and old and respected inhabitant of this county; interment in Cedar Springs burial ground. (24 Jul 1824)

Akely, Robert, of Fermanagh Twp., aged about 20 or 21 years; while in the woods by himself, was so mortally wounded by the accidental discharge of a gun, that he died the next day. (23 June 1821)

Andrews, James, Esq., died at his residence in Newark, Delaware, 19 Aug.1824, in 43d year of his age; senior editor of the Elkton Press (28 Aug. 1824)

Kerr, Col. Stephen, of Newton Twp., Cumberland County; and his brother William Kerr; drowned at Shellaberger’s Mill on Conodoguinet Creek, 8 March 1826; sons of Andrew Kerr of Carlisle; in the evening they were removed to Stephen Kerr’s house, above Newville; to be interred at Carlisle. Welch, Andrew, drowned while attempting to swim Shearman’s Creek between Fio Forge and the mouth of the creek; body found Sunday following in Duncannon Forge dam by William Clark and others; buried in Young’s Meeting House churchyard; left widow and three children; of this county.
