Picture Feature - Patches from Camp Sequoyah
Contributed by Bill Klauk
The scanned images below were provided by Bill Klauk from his private collection. Bill was an Eagle Scout of Troop 115, Belle Valley School, Millcreek Township, and attended camp and weeked campouts at Camp Sequoyah from about 1957 to 1962. Bill's father, Herman Klauk, was a member of the Sea Scouts troop in Erie during the 1930s and helped build some of the early structures at the camp. Herman was also Scoutmaster of Troop 115 for most of the 1960s and continued to lead scout encampments at Sequoyah into the 1970s. If anyone has camp patches from Sequoyah for other years, please contact Bill Klauk to arrange for a picture of them to appear on this page.
