City of Corry - St. Edward's School - 3rd Grade 1949
Contributed by Mary Ann Granahan
The photo below has been contributed by Mary Ann Granahan. As labeled, the picture is a 3rd grade class photo in 1949 at the St. Edward's School in Corry. Mary Ann relates that the school is now named St. Thomas School. The only person identified in the photo is Betty Gleason, who is in the second row, second from the right. She's the little girl in the dark sweater with dark hair and has glasses on. Her hands are on her knees. She was the daughter of Thelma and Norman Gleason, and was the contributor's Aunt. Betty was tragically killed in a car/train accident on August 3, 1968 at age 27. If other individuals in this picture are living, they would be in their early to mid 60s. Anyone wishing to comment or provide additional information concerning this picture, please contact Mary Ann Granahan directly.
