Venango Township - McNair School

The picture below has been provided by Wilda Resinger by way of Betty Matteson Rhodes. It is a 1929 class photo of the students at the McNair School in Venango Township. This school was on Route 89 and Kimball Road. About 1930, the school was closed and the children were transported to Lowville School. It is reported that the school was taken down some years ago to build a Penelec substation.
