Nineteenth Annual High School Track and Field Championship 1938 STADIUM Friday Evening, June 3, 1938 At 8:00 O'clock	PROGRAM Order of Events Finals [no names so this area not transcribed] SPECIAL       The high schools take great pleasure in presenting to the Erie public the world's fastest human, Mr. Jesse Owens, who will run an exhibition sprint with Reg. (Pete) Bowen former East High and University of Pittsburg star athlete. Mr. Owens will also give a demonstration of the broad jump. RECORDS NOW HELD BY MR. OWENS World's Record - Coholder 100 yds. 9.4; 220 yds. 20.3; Low hurdles 220 yds. 22.6; Running broad jump 26.8 1/4. National Intercollegiate - 100 yds; 220 yds.; Low hurdles and broad jump. National Interscholastic - 100 yds.; 220 yds.; Broad jump.
