This is a photograph of my grandfather, Richard Walter Tatar (1925-1990) and his cousin, Norman E. Ketchel (1924-2004). This photograph was taken in Erie sometime between 1941-1942.

Tatar’s house, which was located at 1119 Brewster. The woman on the porch his Richard’s mother, Clara Mankowski-Tatar (1905-1997). This photo was taken in 1929.

The third photograph is the wedding day portrait of my great grandparents, Walter Tatar (1900-1968) and Clara Mankowski (1905- 1997). They were married on 25 Nov 1924 at St. Stanislaus Church. The maid of honor was the bride’s aunt, Clara Konkol- Dobrzynski (1902- 1987). The other man in the photograph is unknown at this time. Click on the photo for a much larger image. The fourth photograph is of my grandparents, Richard Walter Tatar (1925-1990) and Elise Fuselier (1926-2006). Richard met his future wife, Elise, while stationed in Texas with the Coast Guard.

This photograph is of my second great grandparents, Theodore Charles Mankowski (1874-1954) and Frances Konkol (1883- 1953). The photograph was taken in 1905.

This photograph was taken in 1946 at Walter Tatar’s house in Erie. Standing left to right, is Walter’s younger brother, Alfred Tatar (1912-1986), his father, Anthony Tatar (1870-1949) and Walter Tatar (1900-1968).
