Sherrod Reunion

Contributed by Kathy Ebert

This picture and information about it has been provided by Kathy Ebert. Daniel Sherrod was one of the original settlers of the Sherrod Hill area (Washington/Elk Creek township line) just west of Edinboro around 1800.  His son, Michael Sherrod and his descendants continued to live in the area on into the next century.  In the 1920's several family reunions were held, often organized by Zella Sherrod Reynolds.  The reunion photo shown below was taken around 1926 at the home of Charles Meabon at Sherrod Hill. Names that can be identified have been provided below. Any inquiries about this family or the photo may be directed to Kathy Ebert.
