 1790 Federal Census for Pennsylvania - Census information contained on NARA Microfilm #M637-9 includes Allegheny County, parent county for Erie. A 1907-08 printed schedule for Pennsylvania is on Microfilm #T498-2.

1800 and before Erie County "People Lists" - These are not really a census, but are other lists of people which can be used as "alternative census" such as Tax Schedules and Land Company record books. Names included in these lists are people living in the county and may contain people living in nearby counties also.
