CUMBERLAND VALLEY CHRONICLES: A Bicentennial History , William H. Burkhart; 1976. The Shippensburg Historical Society, Shippensburg, PA.
Covers the Colonial and Revolutionary periods, has information about some of the old Cumberland Co cemeteries, and seems to cover the area until the late 1800's. There is an 1877 tax list of Shippensburg, an 1878 directory of Shippensburg, which seems to be the focus of this work.
