The purpose of this website is to make Historical and Genealogical data and sources pertaining to Columbia County available for researchers. This information is provided by Volunteers who have done research themselves or have access to sources and are willing to share with others.

With that said, this website will be under continuous construction as data is collected and transcribed and  volunteers offer to share their time and information with others.

You will find names, addresses, links and contact information to Historical Societies, County Seats, Libraries and other information repositories here.

You will also find some family related historical data such as; deeds, wills, marriage licenses, birth announcements, obits, and other public records. Some personal family genealogy snippets may be included.
