Whalen & Delaney .... Ireland -> Pittsburgh
Lots of family history data and some old pictures on my website page:
http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/m/c/a/Mary-B-Mcavoy

Patrick Whalen and Elizabeth Delaney-Whalen came to Pittsburgh about 1866 and Elizabeth mother, Margaret Delaney, joined them in about 1875. They lived in Soho area in the early days and then moved to Forward Ave where they died in the early 1900s.

Houston ........ Ireland -> Pittsburgh -> Columbus
Patrick Whalen's oldest daughter, Mary Ann Whalen, married Joseph C Houston in Pittsburgh in 1885 and they lived there until about 1890 when they moved to Columbus, OH.

Wilkinson-Topley Family
http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~njwilk/
has
roots in eastern Allegheny County going back to at least 1814. Surnames
in the county include WILKINSON, TOPLEY, NATCHER, McDERMOTT, GODFREY,
SCHUCHMAN, BUTLER, SICKMAN, LINHART, and McGOWAN. The site includes
some transcribed records including wills, obituaries, and census
records. A Life and Times area includes snippets of information about
the world in which my family has lived. A surname index to The History
of Allegheny County by A. Warner & Co. published in 1889 may interest
other Allegheny county researchers.

WUNDERLE-REINFRIED family
http://www.uwsp.edu/psych/dk/langhist.htm
 moved from Pittsburgh to Dubuque, Iowa, about 1835. More information can be found in the “Lang Family History”
