Sara was a long-time organist at Immaculta Conception Catholic Church in North Little Rock and was the first secretary of Immaculate Conception School. She retired after many years with the American Red Cross. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Helen Gavin, a brother, Charles Gavin. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Carol O. Huncke; sons, Charles F. Huncke and Deeana Montgomery of North Little Rock, John G. Huncke and wife Kate of New York City; daughter, Ruthie H. Holland and husband Alan of Little Rock; numerous grandchildren; other family members, Chris and Brian; Huncke, Matthew and Laura Holland, Sara and Matthew Huncke, Amy, Walt and Jacob Terry and Amanda Montgomery. The family wishes to gratefully thank the friends who gave so generously of their love and support during Sara's extended illness.
