YarbroughInezInez Yarbrough, age 77, of Ward died Friday, Aug. 23, 2002. She was a former Water Commissioner for the City of Ward; served as chairman of the Ward City Beautification Committee; and served in the voting princinct in Ward.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, James Richard Yarbrough, one son, James Richard Yarbrough Jr. of Millington, Tenn; one daughter, Jamie Carr of San Diego, Calif.; two half-brothers, four half-sisters; five grandchildre; three great-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.

He was a graduate of Central High School and was attending the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He was a member of Westover Hills Presbyterian Church.

Survivors are his parents, Denny and Lynda Yarbrough of Little Rock; sister, Elizabeth Yarbrough of Little Rock; grandparents, Walter Bizzell of Little Rock and Betty Yarbrough of Little Rock; grandfather and his wife, Denzil and Gean Yarbrough of Cabot; and great-grandmother, Lottie Bostic of North Little Rock.

She was a member of the North Little Rock First Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include three sons, Archie York of Appleton, Bobby York of Houston, Texas and Kenneth York of Damascus; three daughters, Elizabeth Johnson of Perryville, Helen Wagner of Waynesville, Mo. and Norma Hilliard of Kingsland; a sister, Jewel York of North Lttle Rock; 23 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and 24 great-great-grandchildren.

Bruce Wayne Young, 49, of Little Rock died Sunday Oct. 8, 2000.

He was an investigator at Blue Cross/ Blue Shield for 15 years, restored classic muscle cars, and was in the Marine Corps, serving in Vietnam.

He is survived by three children, Rachel, Michelle and Stuart Young of Cabot and David Young of Searcy; a sister, Christine Shane of Beebe; and mother, Delores Young of Portland, Ore.

She was a Baptist, and a retired seamstress of International Ladies Garment Workers Union.

Henry Preston Young, 83, of Jonesboro died July 13, 1997.

He was a retired farmer and a member of the First Assembly of God Church at Jonesboro.

He was an Army veteran of the Korean War, where he received the Purple Heart. He was a retired plumber and pipe fitter for Local Union #136, Evansville, Ind., and member of VFW.

For years he owned Zaner Ent. specialzing in high performance stock machine work. He was a member of Cabot First Baptist Church.

Survivors are: daughter, Melissa Zaner of Gainesville, Fla.; mother, Maycell Woodall of Cabot; brother, Jerry Zaner of Jacksonville, Fla.; two sisters, Sherry Purdy of Forest, Va., and Leticia Ginn of Jacksonville, Fla.

She was a retired nurse from the Arkansas State Hospital, a member of Concord United Methodist Church and the Lonoke Chapter 421 of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include a son, Garland McDonald of Lonoke; a daughter, Wilma Shue of Quitman; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
