| Evans | Leslie Oscar | Leslie Oscar Evans, aged 75, of Jacksonville died Sunday, Oct. 6, 1996. He was a member of the Jacksonville First Presbyterian Church He was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran. After flight training he flew C-82's and B-24s, with nine combat missions and 61 combat hours. His decorations and citations include the Philippine Liberation Medal with one Bronze Star, Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal with three Bronze Stars, and the American Theatre Ribbon Victory Medal Warold War II. After retiring from the Air Force, he owned and operated Evans R.V. and Mobile Home Park. Survivors include his wife, Gloria George Evans; two sons, David L. Evans and Steven M. Evans, both of Jacksonville; three brothers, Bill Evans of Columbia, Tenn., Frank Evans of Harriman, Tenn., and Mae Evans of Harriman, Tenn.; and six grandchildren.
