Taylor, Hiram - was born October 14,
1914. Hiram and his wife Sarah had several children:: Ellen Ann,
John H., William D., Elizabeth M., Thomas B., Maria Lucie, Herman L., Milton
A., MaryJane, and Sarah Catherine.

Hiram and Sarah married 3/28/1832 and divorced 1858 in Marion County,
Or.

Terrell, Benjamin F. -came to Oregon
from IA. He and his wife Mary Elvinia McAlister had the following children:
ChildsName: Henry C., John M., Benj. F. Jr., Joseph L., Rosa M., Ruby
B.,and George E.
Benjamin F. Terrell came over the Oregon Trail,
joining at Council Bluffs. With him were brothers
of his wife, Charles H., Merritt Jackson, James L.
McAlister. They are in the 1865 Oregon Census in
Umatilla County. Also coming with them was the family of Warner
E. Adams who had married another
McAlister sister, Sarah A. McAlister, and their children.
TONEY, James - was born October 23, 1798
in VA. He was in Callaway Co., MO in 1827. In 1838 he purchased
land in DeKalb Co., MO. James departed for Oregon from St. Joseph
MO and arrived at the Hudson Bay Co., in Vancoover, WA November 20, 1847.
March 30, 1848 he secured a donation land claim on Deer Cr. near S. Yamhill
River in Yamhill Co.
In 1849 James went to CA for gold with his son William. When
he retured he build a sawmill with his sons in Yanhill Co. Later
he sold have of his DLC in Yamhill Co. to son James Toney, and moved to
Modoc Co., CA in 1871 to live with son James P. Toney. James and
his wife Martha "Patsey" Thornton had the following children: Mazella,
Wm Litton, Melinda, James P., and Jonathan "John".
TONEY, William Litton - was born Jan
30, 1827, he arrived in Vancouver WA, November 20, 1847 in a covered wagon.
The took a DLC in the fall of 1848 on Deer Creek, Yamhill Co., OR.
April 1848 he served in the Cayuse Indian War under Cpt. Burnett.
William went to CA during the gold rush in the spring of 1849 and in 1850
was one of the discoverers of the Salmon River mining Country, where he
had success. He moved to Portland in 1858 and returned to Yamhill
Co., in 1859. The winter of 1863-1864 was spent in CA. William
built the first hotel in McMinnville, OR. In 1865 he returned tohis
DLCand ran a meat market in McMinnville, moving there in 1865. In
1867 he built the McMinnville Hotel and operated it for 8 years.
In 1875 he again returned to his DLC and then sold out. He purchased
4 acres where the court house was later built and then 150 acres NW of
McMinnville where he resided in 1893. William built rentals near
the courthouse, belonged to the Grange which had a store and a warehouse.
William gave land for the first schoolhouse in the area and furnished the
logs for it to be built as well as helping to build it. He is buried
in the Masonic Cemetery.
TRACE, Caroline - was born August
4, 1886 in Drain, OR. she was married to James Benjamin Kinney and
had the following children:Caroline Rose , James Benjamin, Maurice Leland,
Jacob Jared,Edith, Arland, Lois Elnor, Fay Louise, and Raymond, all born
in Oregon.
TRACY, Joseph - was born December
25, 1820 and came to Oregon in 1854 from Ellisburg, Jefferson Co., New
York. Joseph and his wife Hannah Thompson Bemis had the following
children:: Maria Evaline, Polly Alsina, Phebe L., Franklin, Joel
Franklin, Lorn Moses, and Olive. Joseph and Hannah were married in
Ohio, lived there for a few years, then moved through Nebraska, and to
Oregon.
TRACY, Lorn Moses - was born February
9, 1856 in Creswell, OR. He married Rosa Ann Ritchey and had
the following children: Caroline Primrose, Mildred M., Jacob F.,
Fay Lydia, Grace W. Olive Sue, and Hiram H. Lorn and Rosa lived around
Drain, Douglas Co., Oregon; their children were born there.
TUNNEL, Nancy - came to Oregon from
Tennessee.
Turner, Thomas Lee - lived in KY,
OH, and IA before arriving in Oregon December 1, 1847. His children
were: Nancy, Luvicy, Mary Ann, Thomas, Samuel, Andrew, Henry,
George,and Margaret.
He settled a claim in Yamhill but lived all over Oregon. Daughters'
married names Roberts, Wood, Hayden. Died in Alturas, CA in 1881.
I haven't been able to find wagon train records on their trip on the Oregon
trail.
Tycer,Lewis - was born May 10, 1806
and came to Oregon from MO. He was married first to Sara A. Wright
and second to Francis Jane Sanders. The Children of Lewis were:
James Ellis;Orville Stansbury;Tennessee Teresa;Fredonia, Frances;John William;
Kids,2nd Wife:Mary Susan;
Additional: More children: William Bellfield;Eliza Isabel; Lewis Berry;
Columbus Byron;Sanders Ballard; Sarah Ellen; George Benton... all Tycers.
Settled in/around Brownsville. Many secured Donation Land Claims.
