 PALMER, Lucy Jane - was born January 17, 1848 and came to Oregon from Gasconde co., Missouri.  she was married to Robert J. Shockley and had the following children:  Joseph L., Granvil O., Emma Gertrude, John R., Nellie Thomas R., Lunce, and Omar. Lucy died 5/23/1943 in Mt. Pleasant, Oregon at her son, Lunce Shockley.  She was the daughter of Granville & Martha Palmer, early settlers of Oregon.



 PARRIS, William Elmer - came to Oregon from Louisa Co, Iowa.  William and his wife Sarah Elizabeth Long had the following children:Clarisa I., George E., John S., Loretta J., Lincoln M.,  Johnson., and Willaim H.
 William E. was a State Rep. in 1866. All of the the above are buried in Marion Co. Oregon. Clarisa died either on the way or shortly after they reached Oregon.



 Pease, David Egbert - was born Marach 19, 1820 and came to Oregon from NY.  He and his wifes children included, : Clara and Cyrus.
 My name is Calvin Pease - I believe the above is my great grandfather's brother.  Both were sons of Ebenezer Pease.  I am trying to verify the above by trying to obtain an obituary or other biographical data on David Egbert.  He supposedly joined the Pioneers in 1871.  Is his application available or any other records?  I live in Longview, WA.  3905 Pennsylvania, #35, 98632.  Thanks much


 Payne, Champion Turpin - was born December 15, 1830 and came to Oregon from Chariton Co. MO.  HIs wife was Elizabeth McCallom and their children were:  John, David, Sarah E., Martha J, Minnie M., Stacy, Champion, Taylor, Mandeline, and Richard.
I have census records, and other information regarding the descendents of Champion Turpin Payne.


 Poole, Napoleon Bonaparte - was born March 7, 1833 and came to Oregon from IA.  He and his wife Saraphine Cardwell had the following children: William B., James W., Julius L., Albert J., John Woodrum, Desdamonia, Andrew T, Vernon N, and Umatilla.
They settled Canyonville, OR area.  My great-grandparents.


 PORTER, Andrew Jackson - was born October 26, 1827 and moved to Oregon after first living in OH, IL, IA.  He was first married to Barbara CROSSER and they had a son James Taylor Porter.  He next married Elizabeth Ann LEE and they had the following children:  Mary Jane, Ruth F., Elizabeth Ann, Lucinda R., Andrew L., Nancy Ellen, Harry Sawtell, and Alva.


 Powell, Joab - was born July 16, 1797 and came to Oregon fron TN via MO.  He and his wife Ann Beeler had the following children:Ann, Rebecca, Joab jr., Nancy, Mary, and Martha A.
 Pionerr circuit rider and Oregon revivalist.  Father of twleve children, see partial list above. Established the Providence in April 1853.  An article/biography about Joab appeared in the Oregon Sunday Journal on 5 Dec. 1937.

 Price, Fredrick Larkin - was born April 25, 1880 in Kings Valley, Polk Co. Or.  He was married to Pearl Flood and his children were Anson (Pete) Price, and Precious Addie Price.



 Pruett, John Milton - was born May 1828 and  came to Oregon from Pike County IL.  His wife was Lucinda Jane Carter and their children were:  : Irvin (Irwin) A., Loren A., Charles A., Rodelwin H.,  John W., and  Leticia.
