 Kinsey Cahill -was born April 25, 1846 and came to Oregon from Illinois.  Kinsey and wife Sarah Elizabeth Bowen ahd the following children:  Ada, Minnie,Edward, Randal, George, Kinsey.  Kinsey Cahill was the son of William and Mary
(Taylor) Cahill of Jefferson Co. Ohio. Kinsey and Sarah E. Bowen were married June 5, 1870 in McDonough Co. IL. The Cahill family is listed in 1880 census for Marion Co. and 1900 census for Multnomah Co. and 1920 census for Marion Co. Kinsey died Jan. 29, 1929 in Beaverton, Oregon. Kinsey Cahill was my great grandfather.



 Campbell, Robert E. - was born September 4, 1830 Lafayette County, Missouri .  He was married to Elizabeth Campbell and their children were  Eliza Ann Campbell and   Harvey Campbell.
Robert married three times.  First in Missouri to Elizabeth Ruth Campbell, second in Lane County to Martha Dezell and third in Lane County to Rebecca Hutchinson.  He acquired a donation land claim from Jerry Sweet.  He had two children by his first wife, one by his second wife and two by his third wife.  Eliza Ann married John C. Anderson in September 1869 in Lane County.


 Carter, Amos Henry - was born June 27, 1842 and was married to Eliza Annie Conner.  He came to Oregon from Van Buren Co. IA.  He and his wife had the following children:Robert, Roy Elmer and unknown daughter.
Amos' father Robert died on the trail.  Amos' mother, Eleanor Howard Carter, remarried 1853, Charles Adams, who was also on the wagon train of 1852, as was Eleanor's brother, William Howard and her sister, Catherine Hilleary.
Amos was a baker by trade and died in 1926 in Portland, OR.


CASEY, Robert - was born September 12, 1854 and came to Oregon from Arkansas.  His wife was susan Evelyn Casey(same surname).  Robert was a sure shot.  Once when on Huclemberry Mt., in Klamath Co., he said "I'm going to shoot me a bear", he went out intothe brush, shot once and returned with a bear.  He settled in the Po Valley, died July 20, 1925 and is buried in Ashland, Susan died in Bonanza, Klamath Co., on October 11, 1947.Robert and Evelyn ahd the following children:  Selena Jenny "Sena", Nova, John B. "Bunny.


 CHENOWETH, John - left Missiour for Oregon in 1852, settling near what became Dixonville, named after his wif's father.  He is buried in Oakland, Douglas Co. He married Malinda Dixon (Adamson) and had the following children:  James, Nancy E., Samuel, Rebecca Ann, Wm. Salem, Gideon, Stonewall Jackson, Creed Lee.


 Clift, Joseph - came to Oregon from London, Middlesex, Ontario Canada and was married to Margaret J. Lynn.  Their children were Elizabeth, Ellen, Fred W., Adaline, Minnie M. George L. and Kate. I have census information on family and descendent information on Ellen Clift.


 COLVIN, Caleb F. - was born April 19, 1825 and came to Oregon from Ellisburg, Jefferson co. New York.  He was married to Caroline Lucretia Zufelt and had  the following children:  Margaret Lydia, William Frank, Lydia F., and Sarah Jane.


 COX, Peter - was born May 7, 1802 and came to Oregon from Indiana.  Peter and Isabella had the following children:
Elias, Joseph, Sarah, Mary, Peter, Francis, Virginia, Lucia, and Emma.


 Crystal, Richard Sharp - was born 20 April 1817 and married to Mary Ann Mitchell.  They came to Oregon from Iowa.
He owned a dry goods store in Polk County, Or.  He held the County Treasurers Position in Polk Count, Or at his death.  His son George Washington Crystal finished out his term.  He is buried at the I.O.O.F. Cemetary, Dallas, OR.  His children were
