Four more Century Farms were recognized at the Pioneer Picnic on May 29, 1988.  Plaques were presented by the Morrow County Historical Society to Mildred Bergstrom Connor and Esther Bergstrom for the Olof Bergstrom Century Farm; Gladys Beckett for the J.W. Becket Century Farm; Ninon Rill for the Luther Huston Century Farm; Kenneth and Lucile Peck for the Clinton North Peck Century Farm.

To qualify as a Century a Century Farm, a farm must have no fewer than 10 acres, must have been operated continuously in the same family for one hundred years or more, and if the farm has ever been rented out, it will not qualify.  The line of ownership from the original settler or buyer may be through children, brothers, sisters, nephews, and/or nieces.  Adopted children will be recognized equally.

The Oregon Historical Society recognizes Century Farms every five years.  Applications must be on blanks provided by the Oregon Historical Society.
