ALSI Historical & Genealogical Society, Inc. Waldport Heritage Museum PO Box 822 320 NE Grant St Waldport, OR 97394 (541)-563-7092 The Society's Museum Library is open every Friday from noon to 4:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Society has its business meeting every fourth Friday at 10 a.m.at the Museum. The Society will do local history research for a $5.00 research fee plus $ .25 per page, plus postage. They gladly accept donations. |
The Alsi Historical and Genealogical Society has: Oregon Census Indexes:
1841 through 1880; Lincoln County Census Records: 1850 through 1920;
15 Mayflower Families 5-Generation Books; 40-plus books on Lincoln County,
Oregon; indexes of all local cemeteries; short stories of
people and things of the area; indexed South County Township maps from 1900
to 1967; vertical file on family histories (obits, births, marriages, anniversaries,
military); Oregon Death Index from 1903 through 1998; and a computer
and CD collection for US census records and indexes. It also has for sale a varied
