The Oregon Fallen War Heroes Memorial was constructed in Central Point, Oregon to honor all Oregon soldiers that have died while serving our country since Oregon became a state in 1859. In less than a year the citizens of southern Oregon raised the $250,000 needed to build the memorial and it was dedicated in November 2008. The memorial has 6 sites that honor the different branches of the military: Airforce, Army, Coast Guard/Merchant Marines, Marines, National Guard, and Navy. In 2011, at a cost of $1900 the monument was updated with the names of 29 soldiers that had died since 2008.

Zachary is raising funds so that the memorial can continue to be updated every 5 years.

To assist in raising funds, Zachary will be selling eagle pins with either a gold or silver finish. Each pin will sell for $10.00. Pins will be sold at C.A.R./DAR/SAR meetings, as well as other events. Bricks are also available for purchase. For a $100 donation, a brick will be inscribed with up to 3 lines and placed at the memorial. In addition, personal donations are greatly appreciated.
