     Moses PARKER was born on 26 August 1744 in Virginia.

Moses married Nancy Sands circa 1762 in North Carolina.1

Moses PARKER purchased a government land patent 12 February 1780 in Richmond County, North Carolina. He entered 100 acres on Painters Creek, bordered on the south line and includes Lott Watson's improvements..2

Moses saw military service Served in the South Carolina Militia during the American Revolution. He lived with Edmund BROWN and Jesse Anderson BROWN in 1787 in Little Pee Dee River, Marlboro County, South Carolina.3

Moses PARKER sold a tract of land to Edmund BROWN on 18 August 1792 in Richmond County, North Carolina. The deed read: Moses Parker, planter, of Marlboro County, South Carolina, granted 100 acres of land in Richmond [now Scotland] County, North Carolina to Edmund Brown, planter. Land situated on Panther Creek and the North Carolina state line was originally granted to Moses Parker 18 August 1787. Witnesses were Silas Norton and James When.4 In 1795 Moses PARKER, Edmund BROWN and John Jones were messengers to the South Carolina Baptist Association for Beauty Spot Baptist Church, Marlboro County, South Carolina.5

Moses PARKER purchased a government land patent 17 December 1798 in Cheraw District, South Carolina. The plat for 157 acres on Panther Creek and the Great Pee Dee River was surveyed by Phillip Pledger. Witnesses or nearby land owners were Luke Robertson and John McKay..6

An unknown person married second an unknown person circa 1804 in Marlboro County, South Carolina.7 12 Jan 1804 Moses Parker of Bladen County sold two tracts of land to Jordan Williford of same, for 100 lbs. The first of 95 acres adjoined that of George BROWN. The second section was on the north side of Bain Swamp adjoining Moore Lennon's line. Witnesses were George and Moore Lennon.8

Moses PARKER sold a tract of land to William Ward on 10 January 1807 in Robeson County, North Carolina. The deed recorded in Robeson County Deed Book P page 35 was witnessed by Elizabeth Ward.

Moses PARKER was an appraiserto the will of Edmund BROWN dated on 13 February 1821 in Marlboro County, South Carolina.9

Moses PARKER sold a tract of land to Edmund BROWN Jr. on 25 November 1826 in Richmond County, North Carolina, containing 100 acres situated on Panther Creek and province line for $200. Both men were listed as residents of Marlboro County. The land was originally granted to Moses Parker 18 August 1782 and sold by him to Edmund Brown, Sr. in 1792. Signed in the presence of Willoughby Pate, John Graham, and Lewis Parker and recorded in January 1835.10

Moses PARKER died on 12 November 1830 in Marlboro County, South Carolina, at age 86.11 He was buried in Parker Family Cemetery. Directions - From McColl, SC, at intersection of US 15/401 and SC 381, take SC 381 north toward Gibson, NC for two miles to Chelsea Lane on the left. Follow Chelsea Lane for two tenths of a mile to a lane leading to a fenced cemetery on left.
