     Col. Fielding Lewis was born on 7 July 1725 in Gloucester County, Virginia.

Fielding married Elizabeth WASHINGTON, daughter of Augustine WASHINGTON and Mary BALL, on 7 May 1750 in Virginia. They built a house in Fredericksburg, Kenmore House, in 1770, and owned The Lewis Store until 1776.

Col. Fielding Lewis died on 7 December 1781 in Fredericksburg, Virginia, at age 56.
