Dr. Olin L. ABNEY, son of Zachariah T. ABNEY, was born on 15 December 1852 in Harrison County, Texas. He graduated in 1881 from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Louisville, Kentucky. He was a medical doctor practicing on 15 September 1911 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He also practiced in Eustis, Florida in February 1914, in Safety Harbor, Florida 13 Jul 1914, and in Waskom, Texas 2 Mar 1917.
Dr. Olin L. ABNEY died on 30 May 1923 in Waskom, Harrison County, Texas, at age 70. He was buried in Abney-Rudd Cemetery. This cemetery no longer exists. His remains were later moved to the Colonial Gardens Cemetery.
