     Mathew Wiggins was born in 1817 in North Carolina, the son of James Wiggins and Susannah Lasiter.2

Mathew married Mary Ann BURT, daughter of John BURT and Delia Lane, on 3 December 1833 in Morgan County, Alabama. The ceremony was performed by Jo. Lane, minister of the gospel. The license was taken out 18 May 1833.1,2

Mathew Wiggins died in 1847 in Morgan County, Alabama.2
