Margery ABNEY, daughter of William d'Abney, was born circa 1415 in Hope Parish, Derbyshire, England.
In 1468 Margaret Thornhyll, sister and heir of Richard Abney, granted to Thomas Eyre of Highlowe, a sixth part of all the lands and tenements, etc. in Hope and Castleton or elsewheres in Derbyshire which descended to her after the death of Richard Abney, her brother. Endorsed: 'Quere de morte abney ac de quo tenult terras in hope et castlet.1'
