     Willis SHELTON, son of Ladimon SHELTON and Ruth (?), was born circa 1774 in Halifax County, North Carolina.

"I give to my son Willis Shelton all my land thats his laboring between Burnt Coat and Jacket Swamp and one horse saddle and bridle - (unreadable)- and one featherbed of furniture."1
