     Lillian Catherine BROWN, daughter of Asa Robertson BROWN and Mary Sophia Kirkpatrick, was born on 27 May 1867 in San Saba County, Texas.1 She was also known as Katie.

Lillian Catherine BROWN appeared on a census, enumerated 3 July 1870, in the household of Asa Robertson BROWN and Mary Sophia Kirkpatrick in San Saba, San Saba County, Texas. She was recorded as Louisa S. Brown, age 3.2

Lillian Catherine BROWN appeared on a census, enumerated 1 June 1880, in the household of her parents Asa Robertson BROWN and Mary Sophia Kirkpatrick in San Saba County, Texas. She was recorded as Lillian C. Brown, age 13.3

Katie married Polk Morgan Faver on 10 November 1889 in San Saba County, Texas. He was the son of William N. and Mary Ann (Oliver) Faver of Alabama. They had come to Texas in 1852.

Lillian Catherine BROWN and Polk Morgan Faver appeared as head of household on a census enumerated 1 June 1900 in San Saba, San Saba County, Texas. The household was listed as P. M. Faver, 37, born February 1863 in Texas, Lawyer; his wife Katie Faver, 33, born May 1867 in Texas; daughter Mary Gregg Favor, 8, born September 1891; and son W. A. Faver, 5, born April 1895. Polk and Katie had been married 10 years and had 4 children, only 2 living.

Lillian Catherine BROWN died on 18 November 1930 in Gas City, Stephens County, Oklahoma, at age 63.1 She was buried in Duncan Municipal Cemetery, Duncan, Stephens County, Oklahoma.

Her obituary appeared 4 December 1930 in the San Saba News, published in San Saba, Texas. Mrs. P. M. Faver, 63, died at her home at Gas City Tuesday afternoon after an illness of about a week. She is survived by her widower and five children. The children are Mrs. T. L. Elkins, W. A. Faver, and A. B. Faver, all of Empire City; and L. 0. Faver and Mrs. W. L. Plumer, both of Canton, Miss. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Beeson Grantham Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. T. P. Haskins, Baptist pastor.
The Faver family has lived , in Stephens county about five years.— Duncan (Okla.) Banner.

Mrs. Faver will be kindly remembered in San Saba, where she was born, married and lived for many years, and where she was loved for her sweet motherly life. She was the daughter of the late A. R. Brown and her mother is now Mrs. G. T. Monk of California. She was married to Hon P. M. Faver on Nov. 10, 1899 and the family lived in San Saba 29 years before moving to Oklahoma. Besides the other relatives named, she is survived by 9 living grandchildren.1
