Rev. Tucker Everett Woodson

     Rev. Tucker Everett Woodson was born on 17 August 1837 in Charlottesville, Albemarle County, Virginia.1

Tucker began military service at age 23 on 3 July 1861 in Albermarle County, Virginia, when he enlisted in Albemarle Light Artillery Regiment. He was promoted to Full Corporal on 15 Feb 1865. And surrendered with the Albemarle Light Artillery Regiment Virginia on 9 Apr 1865 at Appomattox Court House, Virginia.1

Tucker married Agatha ABNEY, daughter of Col. Joseph G. R. ABNEY and Susan Margaret Miller, on 1 June 1879 in Edgefield County, South Carolina.2

Rev. Tucker Everett Woodson died on 23 April 1913 at Soldiers Home in Richmond City, Virginia, at age 75.1 He was buried in Hollywood Cemetery, Richmond City, Virginia.
