Aaron Lucian ABNEY, son of James Wiley ABNEY and Eleanor Ward HAILEY, was born on 23 April 1850 in Elbert County, Georgia.2
Aaron married Cornelia Adeline Jackson on 9 September 1869 in Elbert County, Georgia. Cornelia was a widow, listed on the marriage license as Mrs. Cornelia Adeline Hulme. She and Aaron were the parents of six children: William Isham, Martin Jackson, Oscar, Laura P., Thomas and William Aaron.3
