     Lillian Lee BURT, daughter of Henry McKenzie BURT and Margaret Mims CURRY, was born on 12 April 1877 in Talladega County, Alabama.1 She was also known as Dutch or Frenchie.

Lillian Lee BURT appeared in a newspaper article 10 May 1899 in the Our Mountain Home, published in Talladega, Alabama. Sunnyside-- Among the social news items for this community were "Miss French Burt attended the Sunday school here this evening." Also attending was her brother, J. C. Burt, described as "among the promising young men of the county." It also mentions her sister, Miss Irene Burt, is visiting relatives here this week. Perhaps Sunnyside was the home of their mother.

Lillian married second Henry Moss IVY Jr. on 28 November 1908 in Talladega County, Alabama.1

Lillian Lee BURT died on 10 October 1944 at age 67. She was buried in Greenwood Cemetery, West Point, Clay County, Mississippi.2
