Mary "Polly" ABNEY, daughter of Pvt. William ABNEY and Amelia "Milly" GRAVES, was born on 25 March 1801 in Madison County, Kentucky.1 She may have also been known as Rebecca.1
Mary married Wallis Clark, son of Joseph Clark and Judith GRAVES, circa 1822. His mother was Mary's stepmother by his first husband, Joseph Clark. They had 10 children.2
Mary "Polly" ABNEY died on 10 April 1851 in Rockcastle County, Kentucky, at age 50.1 She was buried in Johnetta Cemetery, Mount Vernon, Rockcastle County, Kentucky.
