WALTON, Thompson , was b. in Oxford Co., in 1853. He lived with his parents until he was 22 years of age, when he rented a farm for some years. Later , in 1821, he purchased the present homestead of 100 acres, lot 10 , Arthur Tp. This place was partly cleared and he completed the work and has made it one of the best farms in the township, with modern house and buildings. All of this has been done by himself, without financial help from others. Mr. Walton is , at present, in the North-West. He is a Presbyterian and a Liberal. In 1876, he m. Fanny Milburn. Issue: Mrs. Hugh Millar, N.W.T., and Aaron.

Aaron, the only son, lives on the homestead, and is a successful up-to-date farmer. In 1904 he m. Edith Hicks. Issue: Mildred.
