SNELL, Thomas J
., is a native of Hullett Tp., Huron Co., where he was b. in 1857. The Snell
family were pioneers of Hullett, and among the most substantial of Huron Co.
Thomas J. was educated at the schools there, and in 1882 came to Minto, where he now owns 200 acres of land con. 8, upon which he resides. He m. Grace A. Stewart. Issue: Margaret R., William, John R., Stewart, Rupert and Beatrice. Mr. Snell has one of the most attractive farms in Minto, both as regards a high state of cultivation and its appointments, and has one of the best barns in the township.
