ROSS, William , was b. in Washington, U.S.A., in 1850. He came to Puslinch Tp., in 1868, and worked for Duncan Campbell at Corwhin, and while there married Catharine Buchanan. After his marriage, he was in Muskoka for four years, and then returned and rented the two Campbell farms, lots 20 and 21, cons. 10 and 11, 290 acres. At the death of Duncan Campbell in 1892, he fell heir to lot 21, cons. 10 and 11, and lot 19, con. 11, 160 acres. He sold his interest in the farm about 1900 and went to U.S.A. He is a Pres. and a Liberal, Issue: William, in Manitoba; Mrs. Wm. Trousdale, Duncan, James, in Guelph; Mrs. Frederick Leader, and Charlotte.

Duncan has 130 acres, part of the homestead, where he carried on mixed farming. He is a Pres. and a Liberal. He m. Jane Warren. Issue: James and Stanley.
