REMUS, William
, is a son of Charles Remus, who was b. in Germany in 1837, and came to
Waterloo County, Ont., in 1869, where William Remus was born. When seven years
of age he went to Carrick, Bruce Co., and was there raised and lived until
1901, when he came to Minto and purchased lot 16, con. 11, where he carries on
mixed farming. The family are members of the Lutheran Church, and have been
very successful in Carrick and elsewhere.
