REINHART, Christian , was b. Little Germany, Ont., and m. Rosena Barnhardt, b. Preston, Ont. Issue: George, m. Lizzie Sanderson; Emma (Mrs. L. N. E. Lafontaine). and Norman, m. Mildred Dopfer.

Mrs. Reinhart was in the hotel business in Guelph for twenty-three years on the site of the Commercial Hotel. His first hotel building was torn down and replaced by another, which was burned about 1888, and the present hotel built on its site.

Since 1902 the Commercial Hotel has been conducted by his sons under the firm name of Reinhart Bros. Under their management the hotel is popular with the travelling public and enjoys a large patronage from commercial men and farmers.
