REA, Thomas
, is a native Canadian, having been b. in Victoria Co. , Ont., where his
parents were pioneers. He was raised and educated there. He m. Elizabeth
Copeland, dau. of Hugh H. Copeland, and they have the following issue: George,
Isaac, mgr. Wholesale store, Calgary; Mrs. Robert W. Cochrane, set. in Man.;
Thomas, William C., who m. Nellie Ridley, owns and farms 100 acres, lot 23,
con. 18, Minto; John, near Seattle; Albert, who lives on the home farm of 125
acres, lot 27 and part 28, con. 17, where Thomas Rea and family set. in 1889,
and have since lived. The family are all members of the Methodist church, and
ranked among the best citizens of the locality. In politics they are
Conservatives.
